We are seeking a FRENCH-SPEAKING NANNY / TEACHER available for a full-time / Live-out position, based in Chelsea (SW3), London, to look after 2 schoolchildren aged 8 & 5 years old. Japanese & English are spoken in the household. The school is at a walking distance from the home.

The ideal candidate should be a fully qualified teacher holding a PGCE, QTS or equivalent.

The family is happy to employ the Nanny/Teacher who is patient and reasonably flexible.

Nanny (Manny) / Tutor / PA with a ROBUST EDUCATIONAL, ARTISTIC, SPORTY background, urgently sought by a family seriously involved in the well-respected world of QUALITY THEATRE & MUSIC, to look after their 2 daughters aged 13 & 11. The position is based in Richmond and is to start ASAP.

The position was originally defined as an after-school position. Weekly work pattern = Monday to Friday, 3.30 pm - 7.00 pm. However, this position could be turned into a full-time position if the Nanny (Manny) / Tutor / PA wishes so, provided that they could carry out housekeeping duties with the mother, from the morning till the girls are picked up from school at 3.30 pm. About 2 nights' babysitting will be required per week.

The children have very endearing personalities and it is rewarding to have them around: they are funny, very affectionate, imaginative, scatty & dreamy, hilarious, dramatic, gregarious, sporty, intellectually rigorous and play music. One of the children's confidence needs working upon at the moment. Thus, the family is seeking a very responsible, highly competent and forward-thinking Nanny (Manny) / Tutor / PA, educated to a degree level and who is supremely emotionally intelligent, to be in charge of the children's daily lives.

A candidate that can drive, cook, be aware of the children's allergies and able to supervise the music schedule is of the highest importance. The use of the car will be provided whilst on duty. There is part-time a cleaner employed in the household.

The family will wholeheartedly welcome a brilliant & willing to "muck-in" Nanny (Manny) / Tutor / PA endowed with unflappable communication skills, good boundaries and proper hinterland of his/her own interests which should include cultural and sporting interests. Indeed, the children themselves are involved in music (violin, drums, guitar, piano, orchestra), football, rugby, athletics, trampolining and drama.

The family is intellectually curious and believes in a rounded education. Academic success & working hard are paramount, but more importantly the arts, sports, self-knowledge and people skills are also valued in this household. The outdoors also play a big part within the family. A Nanny (Manny) / Tutor / PA who has a real interest in enriching the children, giving them a sense of the broader outside world, who is a good ear and a good emotional support will have a distinctive advantage.
